Race for the Cure

All pinked out were the many thousands who participated in this Sunday’s 19th Komen Maryland Race for the Cure. The cool morning temperatures and traffic did not dim the excitement or pure joy that was felt in Hunt Valley. Runners and walkers of all ages filled the streets by Hunt Valley Towne Center and beyond. The overhead views of the race were truly astounding! Team Calvert had its most successful year, recruiting 98 members and raising over $4500! In fact, the donations are still coming in. Congratulations and a BIG thank you to Team Calvert and all those who supported Komen Maryland Race for the Cure. As a school community we are supporting the promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
