Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

On Monday, January 16th, we held our third annual Martin Luther King Day of Service. Over 280 community members joined together to participate in a variety of service activities in honor of Dr. King's vision and legacy. Some of the highlights included, but are not limited to:

Ø  Karen Burdnell’s interactive stories focused on the importance of making good choices not just for the individual but for the greater community.

Ø  Terri Merwin and Henry McClain-Bey singing together.

Ø  Parents, friends, relatives, older and younger children engaged in helping each other make a difference.
